It's been a while that I didn't write anything in my dear blog *how bad I am yah :D
Well, now let me again share you my experiences through my writings.
Today's writing title is Where to go in Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar?
Honestly, I am a person who love traveling, exploring places, and hiking to feel the nature, but the bad is I hadn't done it for more than two years here in Banda Aceh since it was hard to find friends that have the same interest with me. Besides I also became so busy lately with the campus stuff and bla bla bla ..
But, Wallaa..
A few months ago, I experienced it again, we, some of ACCESers (Aceh Community Center English Society) made a deal to explore the hidden beauty of Banda Aceh & Aceh Besar and visit some historical places in the city center. So, every Sunday during April, we explored difference places.
The first place to be explored is Lange beach in Lampuuk, Aceh Besar. The only way to enjoy the beauty of that hidden beach is by hiking the Lampuuk mountain. There were about 10 of us, and LUCKLY none of us had ever been there and known the correct track to get there. --" In short, we only got few information about the track to Lange by reading someone's blog and FB while the rest of it is we trusted our human instinct :P
After riding our motorbikes through a very dangerous small path in the mountain and then parked the bikes in the middle of the unknown forest, and hiked up and down the mountain about 2 hours, FINALLY we felt like we were TRAPPED in the middle of unknown .. hahaaha .. we made jokes, laughed at ourselves, and left the forest cause it had been a very late afternoon.
That Sunday was a trial. lol :D
We tried our LUCK again in the following week, and we did it. Our tiredness are repaid with the surprise at the end of the mountain road, the Beach is here
*note, don't forget to bring enough water and food since the track will be very tiring.
We found a big barren land on our way to the Lange beach, I don't know whether it's legal or not, but they keep cutting the TREES.
There was also a bungker very closed to the ocean. Based on the historical fact, it was a Japan Bungker used to watch over the situation and the ships that came to Aceh when Indonesia was colonized by Japan in World War II.
Others places and buildings you can see here around Banda Aceh:
Pucok Krueng Aceh Besar. It is a kind of a big made up levee connected to the rivers around Lhoknga.
Don't forget to enjoy the evening view of Lhoknga beach, the sunset is always perfectly wonderful. Many people come to this beach mostly in weekend to see the unfaded beauty of this beach. Moreover, many local and international surfing athletes feel that Lhoknga beach is a surfing heaven for them.
Don't ever forget to be in a very clean and beautiful beach, called Lampuuk. Search for more pics of Lampuuk in the google, and you will see how beautiful the beach is :D
Then soon after Lebaran I want to experience being in an amazing beach, Irah.
